Protecting your privacy is very important to us. We, Undermyfork Inc., provide Undermyfork mobile software application and a desktop web-application Undermyfork Care (together, the "App", or “our Service”). Our Service helps you track how your food intake influences on your blood glucose levels. This Privacy Policy describes what kinds of information we collect, its use, and how it is shared. As our Service is available on App Store, we comply with all App Store requirements concerning protecting the users' information.

User Data We Collect

Settings Information

When you start using our Service, we ask you to provide us information related to your diabetes management such as your diabetes type, blood sugar units, blood glucose target range, and blood glucose meter.

We also request your consent to read and write your data such as your blood glucose measurements, insulin amounts, and carbohydrate count info from Apple Health, Dexcom, Nightscout or another applicable source.

If you consent, we process the settings information in order to be able to provide our Service. If you do not consent to this necessary processing, you cannot use the Service. Your consent will be requested during the onboarding process and can be managed in the settings of the App on your mobile device.

Optional User Data

To use our Service and see how your food intake influences on your blood glucose, you need to upload pictures of your food to the App. If you do not provide such information to us, you won’t be able to benefit from our Service.

Undermyfork Care

Undermyfork Care is a desktop web-application, which allows third parties (e.g. your doctor, consultant, or trainer) to access your data from the App by seeing them on the screen of a computer. Displaying relevant data from the App on the computer screen is a sole function of Undermyfork Care.

If you want to share your data from the App with a third party, you need to give this person a permission to access your data. You can give this permission at any time, using the settings of the App. If you want to revoke your permission, please write us a message to contact@undermyfork.com.

Users of Undermyfork Care

If can use Undermyfork Care by accessing it at https://care.undermyfork.com, where you will be requested to go through an authentication process. We use the data you give us (such as your email address) only for the purpose of the authentication and sending you service messages and updates about the App.

Communications

We will collect information you provide when you communicate with us, such as any communications you send to customer support.

Usage Data

We collect industry standard data from everyone who uses our Service. We use common technologies to automatically collect information such as your IP address or other device address or ID, device type, the version of our app you use, measurement units, target range, the pages or other content you view or otherwise interact with on our Service, the dates and times that you access or use our Service, and any other relevant information to ensure proper use of the App (“Usage Data”). To process Usage Data and to be able to continuously improve our Service we use third-party services and partners, such as Amplitude.

Amplitude is an analysis service of Amplitude Inc. This tool collects technical information, such as the type of your device (e.g., iPhone 6), the operating system used (e.g., iOS 10.3), or the name of your provider. In addition, Amplitude tracks events that occur in the App. Such events may, for example, be completed onboarding process. In other words, Amplitude helps us understand how you use our Service.

How We Use Your Information

To Provide the Service

We use your information to provide, personalize, analyze, and improve the Service.

Communications

We may send you administrative messages such as those related to customer service or system maintenance, or to inform you about new features of our Service.

Aggregate Data

We may anonymize and aggregate data collected through our Service and use it for the purposes of research, development and improvement of the Service.

How We Share Your Information

From time to time, we may use third parties to provide our Service or otherwise support our business. As a result, we may disclose user data to contractors, service providers and other third parties but such disclosure will be limited to enabling those third parties to provide their products or services.

We may access, preserve, and disclose information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Please be aware that no security measures are perfect, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on our Service.

Storage

Your user data is stored on your mobile device. This data is also stored on our servers in the European Union. We only use systems that comply with the strict requirements of GDPR.

Our Policy Towards Children

Minors only permitted to use our products with the consent of a parent/guardian. This also applies to processing their user data, which is only legal if and to the extent to which the consent has been obtained by and through the parent/guardian. Otherwise use of our Service is prohibited. We do not intentionally collect data from users under the age of 13 years old in connection with our Service. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13, who has submitted information through our Service, please email us to contact@undermyfork.com in order to request deletion.

Accessing or Modifying Your Information

You may update, correct, or delete your settings information at any time by accessing the settings of the App on your mobile device. You may also access, modify, or delete the information about your food intake inside the App. If you need to delete any other information that is related to you and processed by us, you may contact us at contact@undermyfork.com .

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on undermyfork.com, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we also will notify you of such changes by sending you a notification, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective. By continuing to access or use our Service after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
